(UnitedVoice.com) – Democrats have been pushing voters to cast their ballots by mail since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Republicans have repeatedly pointed out how unsafe the method is because it’s an unsecured way to vote. Once again, their fears were validated.
On October 26, the US Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Kentucky announced the arrest of a postal worker for throwing mail-in ballots away. Authorities accused DeShawn Bojgere, 30, of discarding mail in a construction dumpster. That included 111 absentee ballots being sent to voters.
US Attorney Russell Coleman said violating the “reliability and integrity” of the postal service will result in prosecution.

Bojgere could receive a $250,000 fine, up to 5 years in prison, and 1 year of parole if a court finds him guilty of the alleged offenses.
The election is on November 3, but one has to consider what will happen if Americans don’t trust the results. There are real problems with the system. Will they all be ironed out before Election Day?
