(UnitedVoice.com) – There’s been a bit of tension between FBI Director Christopher Wray and President Donald Trump’s administration over the last few months. Some of it has to do with the way the agency handled the Russia probe. On October 8, the commander-in-chief addressed the issue during an interview with Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo.
Bartiromo asked Trump about recent reports that he wanted to fire Wray. The FBI director dismissed the president’s concerns about voter fraud, testifying it isn’t a widespread problem.
Trump responded to Bartiromo saying Wray “has been disappointing.” He went on to say voter fraud is a “much bigger problem than China or Russia,” and he’s not sure why the FBI director doesn’t see that.

Every person who has a job within the executive branch serves at the pleasure of the president. He has a right to fire the people he believes aren’t doing a good job. It’s alarming that Wray isn’t taking voter fraud seriously during one of the most consequential elections in American history.
