RFK Jr Is Making Biden Supporters Nervous

RFK Jr Is Getting Biden Fans Nervous

(UnitedVoice.com) – Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) Jr. comes from the biggest Democratic dynasty in American history. His uncle was president, his father ran for president, and many of his various siblings, cousins, and other family members have served in positions in the federal government. He’s now running for president himself and reportedly making some of the current POTUS’ supporters nervous.

When RFK Jr. announced he was running for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2024, he was immediately labeled a longshot candidate. The Democrat, who often spreads conspiracy theories, was largely brushed off at first. Even members of his own family publicly said they wouldn’t support his campaign. However, in recent weeks, RFK Jr. has started to do surprisingly well in the polls.

At the end of May, a CNN poll showed RFK Jr. had managed to receive 20% of the support. A Fox News poll from around the same period of time shows the Democrat had 16% of his party’s support. Democratic strategist Michael Ceraso spoke to The Hill and warned that if the Left doesn’t take RFK Jr. seriously, they “can create a stronger Republican Party that beats [them] in 2024.” He claimed the candidate could “activate fringe anger” if Liberals mock them as they did in 2016 when Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) ran against Hillary Clinton.

Traditionally, when a president is running for reelection, members of their party don’t challenge them — and if someone does try to oust them as the nominee, they typically don’t succeed. For instance, Republican Joe Walsh tried to primary former President Donald Trump in 2020 and failed miserably. But experts believe that even if RFK Jr. doesn’t succeed in the Democratic primaries, he could throw the POTUS off his game. That could be just enough to cost Biden the election.
