Ron DeSantis Rakes in Millions as Reelection Campaign Heats Up

Ron DeSantis Brings In MILLIONS As Rumors Swirl

(UnitedVoice.com) – Florida’s popular governor has been raising campaign funding at an impressive rate. There’s no sign of it slowing down, either. He’s continuing to pull ahead of his Democratic rivals, building up a large cash reserve ahead of November’s elections.

According to state media, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) raised millions more dollars in the first half of June. Campaign reports filed on June 24 show that in the first two weeks of the month, DeSantis’ campaign collected $3.6 million. The official campaign account for DeSantis and Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nuñez raised over a million, with the rest going to the Friends of Ron DeSantis PAC.

DeSantis has assembled a formidable list of donors. Big contributors include investment fund Cannae Holdings, which belongs to Vegas Golden Nights owner Bill Foley, and nursing home operator Florida Care. The result is that between his candidate account and his PAC, DeSantis now has an incredible $114,340,380 available to fight the election, on top of substantial amounts the campaign has already spent. This fund dwarves what his Democratic challengers have been able to raise.

The governor’s fundraising success could have huge implications. While his candidate account officially allocates funding to his November gubernatorial election, he might also use the considerably larger pool of funds controlled by the PAC for a run at the White House. If DeSantis decides to seek the Republican nomination in 2024, he already has a lot of money to kickstart his campaign.
