Ron DeSantis Suspends Liberal State Attorney

Ron DeSantis FIRING Announcement – Thrown To The Curb!

( – In recent years, far-left political donor George Soros funded the campaigns of district attorneys set on changing the way they enforce the law. The result in Democratic-led cities has been detrimental to citizens. Violent crimes are up, and things are only worsening across the country.

In Florida, Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis teased a major announcement on Wednesday, August 3. Some speculated he was announcing a run for president. Instead, the governor suspended a state prosecutor for refusing to administer the law.

DeSantis Says His Administration Will Enforce the Law

In numerous Democratic states, attorney generals and DAs are picking and choosing what laws to apply. It’s led some to question whether the law is truly blind. On Thursday, Florida’s chief executive suspended Soros-supported, left-wing State Attorney Andrew Warren. He said the elected official refused to prosecute people who break the law prohibiting sex change surgeries on children and abortion restrictions.

The governor said the prosecutor in the 13th state circuit neglected his duties and pledge to uphold the law. He stated elected attorneys couldn’t constitutionally veto laws or cherry-pick which they’ll prosecute for enforcement. He said the liberal ideology was a pathogen he wouldn’t allow to gain a foothold in the Sunshine State.

DeSantis’ office added that the suspension wasn’t about any single issue. Instead, the administration intended to send the message it would hold officials accountable.

Warren said the move was a stunt and overreach. He argued the action insulted voters in Hillsborough County that elected him twice to represent them, not DeSantis. The suspended attorney attacked the popular conservative, saying the administration designed the action to help a potential presidential candidate.

Soros Won’t Back Down

Despite rising crime and controversial prosecutors who voters are rejecting, George Soros said he wouldn’t stop supporting far-left DAs. In a Sunday Wall Street Journal op-ed, the left-wing billionaire noted that woke prosecutors such as New York City District Attorney Alvin Bragg were “popular” and “effective.”

In June, voters recalled Soros-backed San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin after violent crime ran rampantly out of control in broad daylight. In Los Angeles, the philanthropist-supported DA George Gascón is facing a recall. Bragg also faces a slew of criticism for not prosecuting habitual criminals while going after residents who seek to defend themselves.

The move may be popular in newly deep-red Florida. Ahead of the gubernatorial primaries on Tuesday, August 23, the governor holds a decisive advantage over every Democrat according to RealClearPolitics average of polls on Friday, August 5.

So, will DeSantis’ move to take on woke officials inspire more governors to act to protect their citizens?
