Rudy Giuliani Actually Wants to Testify, But There's One Condition

Rudy Giuliani’s Lawyer Reveals What He Really Wants

(UnitedVoice.com) – The January 6 Committee is still moving full steam ahead. Most recently, lawmakers hoped to speak to former President Donald Trump’s ex-attorney Rudy Giuliani. Just before the scheduled interview, the conservative attorney canceled it.

According to Newsweek, the January 6 Committee expected to hear from Giuliani on Friday, May 6. However, the committee’s attorney objected upon learning the former NYC mayor wanted to record the interview.

Giuliani’s lawyer Robert Costello said his client wouldn’t speak to the committee unless he could record the session. He went on to say Giuliani had had every intention of discussing matters that weren’t subject to attorney-client privilege. The Gateway Pundit reported he wanted to broadcast his testimony live, and he only canceled when the committee refused his request.

Costello told Newsweek it seems the committee is more interested “in keeping things secret than getting to the so-called truth.” He said he thinks if lawmakers were truly invested in getting to the bottom of what happened on January 6, 2021, then they should’ve agreed to allow his client to record the interview. Giuliani is continuing to negotiate with lawmakers but doesn’t trust them.

Do you think there’s something else going on and the committee is behaving oddly?
