Russia Reportedly Giving Private Orders to Boost Troop Presence at the Border

(UnitedVoice.com) – Russia claimed it was pulling troops away from the border this week. NATO and the White House were immediately skeptical. It soon became clear someone was lying, and now, more warnings are being issued.

On February 14, US officials warned an invasion of Ukraine by Russia could happen at any time. The next day, Russian Ministry of Defense Spokesman Igor Konashenkov claimed the country was removing some of its troops from the border. Russia said the Western war of propaganda failed without any bullets ever being fired. By the next day, the story fell apart.

In a call to the press, a senior administration official told reporters that not only is Russia NOT withdrawing its troops, but it’s actually mobilizing more. Secretary of State Antony Blinken told ABC’s Good Morning America there is a big difference “between what Russia says and what it does.” The UK also believes Russia could still invade.

President Joe Biden has also spoken out and said the number of troops along the Russian-Ukrainian border has increased. The US believes there are at least 190,000 troops stationed there. US intelligence still believes Russian President Vladimir Putin will use some kind of fabricated pretext to launch a war.

Do you think Russia is going to invade Ukraine?
