Texas Governor Protects “Save Chick-fil-A” Bill

Texas Governor Protects 'Save Chick-fil-A' Bill

Finally, a state with their head on straight. Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) signed a new law that protects private entities from being punished for actions taken based on their religious beliefs. To no-one’s surprise, this triggered Liberals all over social media.

The bill was proposed because the San Antonio City Council tried to prevent Chick-fil-A from opening in their airport. They didn’t want the popular fast-food chain in the San Antonio airport because they didn’t like Chick-fil-A owners’ religious beliefs. Thus, it was referred to as the “Save-Chick-fil-A” bill. It should have been named the “Save Religious Tolerance” bill.
