(UnitedVoice.com) – Somewhere along the way, the Democratic party went off the rails. Kind of like a train wreck carrying nuclear and toxic waste would mutate the entire landscape. Case in point:
Senate Liberals managed to block two bills regarding abortion from coming to the floor of the chamber, thereby avoiding a vote. One of them is known as the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. It’s amazingly straightforward for modern-day legislation with the first item simply saying:
If an abortion results in the live birth of an infant, the infant is a legal person for all purposes under the laws of the United States, and entitled to all the protections of such laws.
The second section merely adds the notion that a healthcare facility must extend to the baby, no longer a fetus but a person living outside their mother’s womb, the same rights as any other patient. Sounds reasonable enough, right? Apparently not if you happen to be seated to the left of the aisle.
As the Senate heads to vote today on two horrendous anti-abortion bills, we must come together to declare, loud and clear, that reproductive rights are human rights. They are civil rights. And they are non-negotiable.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-KY) led the charge into a place more bizarre than any Twilight Zone episode. She called it a “human rights” violation, but only for one of the two people (remember, no longer a fetus), the mother of course. Somehow, even after they are separated into two distinct individuals, the “rights” of one outweigh the other.
The good senator, and others of her ilk, seem intent on driving the idea of reproductive rights from aborting a “mass of cells” in a woman’s body into full-blown infanticide. One sure way to know when a person or group is lost is when The Agenda reduces the value of human life to zero. Time to set the bloodhounds on the Progressive Liberals’ trail.
