This State is Shutting Down Its Economy Again

(UnitedVoice.com) – California’s Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, citing a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases, has once again ordered places where indoor gatherings take place shutter their doors. There are two stages to his order: one affecting the entire state and another impacting 30 counties showing the biggest spikes.

The statewide order is for the indoor operations restaurants, movie theaters, card rooms and the like. The additional limited area shutdowns extend to places of worship, noncritical offices, and hair salons/barbershops amongst others.

In a related story, the Los Angeles/San Diego school district has said they’re not holding in-person classes for the upcoming school year, but rather will only be offering them online. This runs completely counter to President Donald Trump’s hopes for the 2020-2021 school year.

There’s only one thing absolutely sure about this pandemic and it’s that nobody in the government or medical field truly has a handle on it. Sadly, like so many other things in America today, the answer seems to depend on which side of the Liberal/Conservative ideological lines you look to for an answer.
