(UnitedVoice.com) – A GOP senator has dealt a heavy blow to Joe Biden’s premature attempts to put together an administration. The former vice president was told on Monday that one of his key cabinet picks isn’t fit to do the job.
On November 23, Biden announced he’d chosen Alejandro Majorkas to head the Department of Homeland Security. On the surface, Majorkas looks like a qualified candidate; he was Deputy Secretary for Homeland Security from 2013-2016. However, Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) says he’s corrupt and unqualified.
While the Inspector General was investigating Mayorkas, Harry Reid forced through Mayorkas's confirmation as Deputy Secretary of DHS.
Even then, before the investigation was finished, Mayorkas received no Republican votes.

During his time as DHS deputy chief, Majorkas caused a major scandal before he was even confirmed. It turned out he’d been fast-tracking green card applications by Chinese nationals who had invested in businesses associated with Democrat politicians – including former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe (D) and Hillary Clinton’s brother, Anthony Rodham.
