Trump Challenges Twitter Ruling
The US Justice Department has filed court papers on behalf of President Trump seeking a new hearing on a controversial case that targeted him. The ruling stated that Trump violated the Constitution by blocking people on Twitter. In May of 2018, three judges from the Second US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against him and forced him to unblock a few dozen Twitter users.

The First Amendment doesn’t permit a public official who utilizes a social media account for all manner of official purposes to exclude persons from an otherwise-open online dialog because they expressed views with which the official disagrees.
-Judge Barrington Parker
White House Social Media Director Dan Scavino, who is also accused of violating the Constitution, issued a challenge to the court ruling as well. Meanwhile, AOC blocked a user on Twitter and the Left showered her with praise. Talk about double standards.
Joe Walsh to Challenge Trump in 2020
Former Republican Representative and Conservative radio host Joe Walsh announced that he’s going to challenge Trump for the Presidency.
Friends, I'm in. We can't take four more years of Donald Trump. And that's why I'm running for President.
It won't be easy, but bravery is never easy. But together, we can do it. Join me… join us: go to https://t.co/d40HA9h2Kz.
Let's show the world we're ready to be brave.
— Joe Walsh (@WalshFreedom) August 25, 2019
We’ve got a guy in the White House who is unfit, completely unfit to be president, and it stuns me that nobody stepped up, nobody in the Republican Party stepped up, because I’ll tell you what, George, everybody believes in the Republican party, everybody believes that he’s unfit. He lies every time he opens his mouth.
-Joe Walsh to George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week”
Walsh, who served one term, was an avid supporter of Trump up until the last year. He claims that Republicans only voted for Trump because they didn’t have any other choice. Republicans do have a choice, and most of us wouldn’t choose to vote a turncoat into the White House.
Walsh is a prime example of an opportunist with no party loyalty.
New Group Warns Millennials About Socialism
Sadly, acceptance of socialism is on the rise with Millennials. A Gallup poll found that more than half of Americans ages 18-34 think that socialism is a good goal for our country to work toward. Thankfully, there are plenty of young Americans who truly understand the dangers of Socialism.
Morgan Zegers, the 22-year-old daughter of an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran, just made it her mission to show her peers the dangers inherent within socialism. Her organization, Young Americans Against Socialism (YAAS), uses social media to prove that capitalism is the only economic system that’s good for our country. Below is a snippet that explains why so many young people are being indoctrinated into socialist thinking
Young people are consuming hours of social media each day, which is dominated by leftist propaganda and pulling at their emotions while ignoring basic economics and history.
YAAS is growing their YouTube channel in hopes that their videos will go viral. They’re reminding America of lessons learned first-hand by older generations. The end result of socialism only has two inevitable outcomes: war and poverty.
