Trump Enemy Makes OUTRAGEOUS Claim!

Peter Strzok Claims Jan 6 Riot Was Far Worse than 9/11

Peter Strzok Claims Jan 6 Riot Was Far Worse than 9/11

(UnitedVoice.com) – Peter Strzok went from a relatively unknown FBI official to someone with a starring role in the Russiagate investigation. The former deputy assistant director of the agency’s counterintelligence division led the probe into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 elections. He also worked for Special Counsel Robert Mueller during his investigation into whether former President Donald Trump or anyone in his campaign colluded with Russia.

The FBI later fired Strzok for wrongdoing. Years later, he’s an analyst for cable news. Recently, he came under fire for a remark he made, comparing the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks to the events of January 6, 2021.

Disgraced Agent’s Controversial Remarks

During an October 17 interview on MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House,” Strzok discussed the January 6 attack with Nicolle Wallace. The former agent said he believes the attack on the Capitol after the 2020 election was “the deadliest attack on the US capital in history.” He went on to explain he was talking about the “threat to democracy,” not necessarily the body count.

Strzok said September 11 was tragic because the US “lost thousands of lives in a horrific way” and pointed out that the country still comes together to mourn those losses. However, he characterized January 6 as an “attack on democracy” that “could bring about a fundamental change to American governance,” in those terms, he said, “9/11 is nothing compared to January 6.”

Supporters of then-President Donald Trump perpetrated the incident on January 6, 2021, to stop the certification of the 2020 election and keep the POTUS in power after he lost the presidential race. The government is prosecuting hundreds of people who were there that day.

Outrage Over Strzok’s Remarks

Many took to social media to express outrage over the former FBI official’s remarks. Lavern Spicer, a Republican who once ran for Congress in Florida, slammed Strzok, saying he’s what people vote for when they cast a ballot for a Democrat.

Retired Air Force Col. Rob Maness, who survived the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon, called the former agent “an idiot.” According to the Department of Defense, the attacks on the building killed 125 people on that fateful September day 21 years ago.

In total, 2,977 people died in the 9/11 attacks. Dozens of first responders who helped at the NYC site have died since then from injuries sustained that day. In comparison, one person died as a direct result of the mayhem in Washington on January 6: conservative Ashli Babbit. Others passed away on that day, but their deaths were health-related.
