(UnitedVoice.com) – Last week, a Florida man decided to drive his van into a tent where members of the Republican Party were holding a voter registration drive. Now, he’s telling police he did it because he doesn’t like President Donald Trump.
Gregory Timm told officers that “someone had to take a stand” and he “does not like President Trump.” Thankfully, the six people who were in the tent at the time escaped without injury.
The Republican Party of Duval County said it was an act committed with a “blind rage” toward the president. They said they continue to register voters and they will not be intimidated by radicals:

Timm was charged with one count of criminal mischief and driving with a suspended license. He was also charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a person 65 years or older. He has a public defender and his bond was set at more than $500,000.
