(UnitedVoice.com) – On May 5, the Facebook Oversight Board upheld the social media giant’s suspension of former President Donald Trump’s account. Although that was another example of Big Tech targeting him, it might not matter. He’s found a new way to reach out to his supporters.
Trump launched his own platform this week called, “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump.” The former president will now be able to once again post videos, comments and images for the world to see. His followers will then be able to share his posts on Facebook and Twitter. It’s unclear whether the other social media platforms will remove those shared posts.
🚨President Trump’s website is a great resource to find his latest statements and highlights from his first term in office, but this is not a new social media platform. We’ll have additional information coming on that front in the very near future.🚨 https://t.co/m9ymmHofmI

The platform will be powered by former Trump Campaign Manager Brad Parscale’s Campaign Nucleus. It was rumored that Trump wanted to build his own platform to compete against Twitter and Facebook; however, it’s unclear if this platform, which does not yet allow people to interact with the 45th president, is the beginning of his own social media site or not.
You can find the new platform at www.DonaldJTrump.com/desk.
