Trump Owns Obama After Speech

( – Former President Barack Obama unleashed a violent verbal attack on his successor in a virtual speech during the Democratic National Convention (DNC) on Wednesday, August 19. Obama’s tone wasn’t just combative — he came off as bitter. Not to be outdone or sit back and take the verbal beatdown, Trump responded in real-time with words of his own.

Below, readers must watch the short video embedded in the tweet! First, we need some context.

The back-and-forth revives the personal feud between the 44th and 45th presidents. In 2016, Obama dismissed Trump repeatedly throughout the campaign. When it was evident Trump would win the Republican nomination, Obama joined Hillary Clinton on the attack against the future president. Could Obama soon be embroiled in the Obamagate controversy that might put him at the center of one of the biggest developing political scandals in US history?

Obama Lambasts Trump

During his 2020 virtual convention speech, Obama used the strongest language to date in his attacks against Trump. He accused the sitting president of not taking the job seriously and claimed that the former businessman turned politician is incapable of growing into the role.

Yet, instead of questioning Democratic governors in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania for the tens of thousands of COVID-19-related nursing home deaths due to their executive orders, Obama blamed Trump.

Instead of acknowledging the pain that Democratic governor-induced draconian shutdowns caused nearly 50 million people since mid-March lost their jobs to COVID-19, Obama said it was Trump’s fault. He claimed that Trump ruined America’s reputation around the world. However, Obama didn’t recognize the president’s accomplishments, such as the peace deal between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Israel, the wind-down of US soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the eradication of ISIS in Syria and Iraq.

Obama’s speech was a petty retaliation for Trump unwinding all of Obama’s initiatives. From regulatory cuts that led to the fastest growing economy in decades, the diminishment of the failed Obamacare law, to restoring positive relations with Israel and pursuing sanctions against Iran, Trump was the target of Obama’s verbal revenge.

Trump Responds in Real-Time

Not to sit quietly and let Obama define him, Trump went on the attack during Obama’s speech. The POTUS reminded his followers that Obama refused to endorse Biden until he was forced into it. Trump asked Obama why he tried to get Biden not to run for president?

Perhaps the most devastating and powerful tweet ever, Trump reminded his followers about the Democrats overconfidence in 2016. The embedded video exposed how the outgoing Obama administration undermined his presidency, spied on his campaign and got caught using the FBI and other agencies to do it.

Earlier this week, former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith pled guilty for falsifying a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign. US Attorney John Durham is investigating the origins of the Russian Collusion hoax. In a startling revelation by the Justice Department last spring, a report was released that showed Obama was responsible for kicking off the investigation against the Trump campaign and former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

Obama and Democrats may be getting ahead of themselves. There is a lot that will be coming out in the coming weeks about the misdoings of Obama, Biden, and those in the government that advocated for the coup of a duly elected president.

Stay tuned. This election is just heating up. Expect some fireworks and drummed up controversies next week by Democrats and the media.
