(UnitedVoice.com) – On Wednesday, April 28, the FBI raided former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s Manhattan apartment. The agents reportedly took electronics from the residence, but it isn’t clear what exactly the DOJ is investigating. The day after the raid, former President Donald Trump responded to the news and he was not happy.
During an interview with Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo, Trump said he believes the raid on his former personal attorney was “very unfair.” He explained that he thinks there’s a “double standard” within the Justice Department about who they’re willing to investigate, pointing to recent allegations about John Kerry, Joe Biden’s climate envoy. Kerry, who served as Barack Obama’s secretary of state, is accused of giving Iran information about Israel.
Trump on Fox: “Rudy Giuliani is a great patriot, he does these things, he just loves this country, and they raid his apartment. It’s like, so unfair, and such a double standard … like I don’t think anybody’s ever seen before…. I don’t know what they’re looking for”

Trump went on to say that Giuliani is a “patriot who loves this country.” He called the decision by the DOJ “very sad.”
The Justice Department has not revealed why the FBI raided Giuliani’s apartment. However, recent news indicates he’s not going to allow them to get away with it; the former mayor is expected to fight over the files taken by law enforcement.
