Trump Vetoes Resolutions
President Trump vetoed three resolutions meant to block the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia recently, stating it would “weaken America’s global competitiveness and damage the important relationship we share with our allies and partners.”
Both Democrats and Republicans approved the resolutions, including Sens Lindsey Graham and Susan Collins. Next week, the Senate will vote on whether to override the vetoes; we’ll try to update you on the outcome when that happens.

If Trump is good at anything, it’s being competitive. This is just another example of him fighting in favor of America once again.
Colorado State University Bans the Word ‘America’
The Left is at it again! In their bid to be as politically correct as possible, they are now telling students not to use the name of our own country.
A new Inclusive Language Guide instructs students to avoid the words “America” and “American.” That’s right – they aren’t even supposed to tell people they’re proudly American anymore. The guide explains this bizarre ruling by suggesting it “erases other cultures.”
Let’s “avoid” giving them one cent of American taxpayer funding: Colorado State: 'Avoid' using 'Americans,' 'America'” https://t.co/GXDgpVhKJ2

So what should students use instead? “US citizen or person from the US.” Somehow, “I’m a proud person from the US” just doesn’t have the same ring as “I’m a proud American.”
Identifying as American doesn’t erase anyone’s culture. The point of language is to communicate, and trying to put a limit on saying the name of our country is taking it way too far. College students should be taught to love America, not be ashamed of its name.
Ginsburg Defends Gorsuch and Kavanaugh
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg spoke out in defense of Associate Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh this week. When Ginsburg’s former law clerks said the justices lacked personal decency, the Liberal judge said they are both “very decent and very smart individuals.”
This is the second time this month Ginsburg stepped up to defend Kavanaugh. Although it may seem surprising, she also recently praised him for hiring an all-female team of law clerks.
She loved Antonin Scalia too.
Great taste in men; lousy ideology choice.

It’s nice to see that not all Liberals are afraid to stand up for someone, regardless of party lines. And it’s even better to see credit landing where credit is due.
