TSA officials at Seattle Tacoma International Airport had a bit of a surprise recently when they came across an empty grenade and a bayonet in a passenger’s carry-on luggage.
The bag belonged to a military weapons collector. The security checkpoint at the airport was closed for almost 30 minutes while explosive experts checked out the grenade to make sure it wasn’t a danger.
This is the second time in less than a month that someone has tried to bring a grenade on a flight. A few days before the incident in Seattle, a man at Detroit Metropolitan Airport tried to sneak a replica grenade on a plane.

Before packing any kind of weapons always make sure to check the TSA rules!
