Pentagon Sending Forces to the Middle East
Defense Secretary Mark Esper has announced that the US will be deploying troops to the Middle East.
This comes in response to the alleged Iranian-based attack on oil fields in Saudi Arabia last week. The oil fields, which include the world’s largest crude-processing plant, had to shut down half of their operations. Effects were almost immediate, as gas prices started to rise in the US.

During the announcement, Esper also said that Saudi Arabia requested help from the US. He added:
The president has approved the deployment of U.S. forces which will be defensive in nature and primarily focused on air and missile defense. We will also work to accelerate the delivery of military equipment to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE to enhance their ability to defend themselves.

The US deployed 500 troops to Saudi Arabia this summer. It hasn’t yet been announced how many more are being sent.
ICE Agents Harassed on Facebook
ICE agents have been under attack by Liberals for a while now, and it seems like things are only getting worse.
Two anti-ICE groups, Abolish ICE Thugs and Denver Communists, both out of Colorado, are taking to social media to spread their negative message. Both groups have posted on Facebook saying they want to see the homes and families of ICE officials set on fire or swinging from nooses.

Last week, the groups held a protest outside the home of Johnny Choate — the warden for an immigrant detention facility in Aurora, CO. Choate is actually not an ICE agent, he works for the group that owns the center.
Prior to the protest, there were messages left on Denver Communists’ Facebook group showing Choate’s face in flames. One message said: “Reenact human rights abuses, get hanged by the neck until dead. Simple.”
Although the groups have been reported to Facebook, the social media giant has yet to remove them.
Corey Booker Ending Presidential Campaign?
It looks like another Democrat might be giving up on their dream of running against Trump in 2020.
We’re at a crossroads in this campaign. We need to raise $1.7 million by September 30 to be in a position to build the organization we need to compete for the nomination—and we can do it—but if we don’t, we don’t see a legitimate long-term path forward.
— Cory Booker (@CoryBooker) September 21, 2019
Sen. Cory Booker confirmed the information, which was first seen in a leaked memo, that his campaign has to raise almost $2 million by September 30th for him to continue.
The memo, which was obtained by NBC News, was from campaign manager Addisu Demissie. It said that due to Booker receiving fewer donations than expected this month that “the next 10 days will determine whether Cory Booker can stay in this race.”
Unnamed sources say it was leaked on purpose to help encourage extra fundraising over the next few days by Booker’s supporters.
Even if he’s able to raise enough money by the end of the month, Booker’s poll numbers — which are in the single digits — still point to him giving up long before 2020. The top contenders, Biden, Warren and Sanders, have significantly higher numbers.
