US Purchasing Greenland, Democrat Calls Antifa Peaceful and Tlaib Cancels Trip to West Bank

US Purchasing Greenland?

President Donald Trump talked to the media on Sunday about rumors that his administration plans to purchase Greenland. It sure sounds absurd…but what’s the real truth?

“Essentially it’s a large real estate deal. A lot of things can be done. It’s hurting Denmark very badly because they’re losing almost $700 million a year carrying it. So, they carry it at great loss, and strategically for the United States, it would be nice. And, we’re a big ally of Denmark and we help Denmark, and we protect Denmark.”

-President Donald Trump

Trump isn’t the first President to think about purchasing Greenland. Harry Truman was also interested when he was President, too. Sadly, the previous deal never came to fruition.

When it comes to real estate, the President knows his stuff. It should be interesting to see how this situation progresses. Maybe Americans will have a new vacation spot to head to in the snowy north eventually, too.

Congresswoman Says Antifa Protesters Are Peaceful

Rep. Debra Haaland of New Mexico had some kind words to say about Antifa during an interview over the weekend. According to Haaland, Antifa is a group of “peaceful protesters” who are trying to “safeguard their city.”

These comments came after Antifa and a group of far-right protesters brawled in Portland, OR, leading to a total of 13 arrests. Seems like peaceful might not be the best moniker.

Antifa is known for being very violent during protests; they have been caught on camera numerous times attacking people and destroying property in the past. In fact, lately it seems like wherever they show up, chaos breaks out. What do you think?

Tlaib Cancels Trip to West Bank

Last week the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, blocked Rashida Tlaib from entering Israel. This decision was made because Tlaib, who is an American of Palestinian descent, has been very outspoken in her dislike of Israel.

After learning that she had been banned from the country, the Liberal Democrat spoke on how her grandmother would feel knowing she was being “silenced and treated like a criminal.”

Netanyahu changed his mind about 24 hours later, agreeing to let Tlaib visit her grandmother in the West Bank.

It should have ended there. Well, the representative decided to pull the old “you can’t fire me because I quit” routine. Shortly after learning she would be allowed in the country, Tlaib said she would no longer go because of the “oppressive conditions.”

Is everything just a game to the Liberals?
