(UnitedVoice.com) – In what should have been an easily foreseeable turn of events, crime, especially the violent style, has seen an uptick in many urban areas during this new “defund the police” era. In the CHOP/CHAZ area of Seattle, it seems that Karma may have reared up and bitten the occupying force on its collective backside.
A man in the CHOP area died because SFD paramedics could not safely enter the autonomous zone. That’s a harsh example of the old adage, “beware of what you wish for.”

Some of the examples include:
- Chicago, Illinois had its bloodiest weekend of 2020 where a reported 102 people were shot. The death toll is now up to 14 killed, including a 3-year-old child.
- Father’s Day weekend saw 25 shot, 4 of them fatally, in Detroit, Michigan.
- Nine people were wounded when gunfire erupted at a large gathering in Syracuse, New York.
This shows the ideas on defunding and/or disbanding police departments being put forward by the Progressive Liberals may not be the brightest of moves. While we must recognize the disparity between the way Blacks and whites interact with law enforcement and that there’s a need to dramatically change this, we must also recognize that the end of this road is anarchy. If there’s one thing history has shown the world it’s that anarchy frequently leads to tyranny.
