(UnitedVoice.com) – In 2021, Chris Wallace left Fox News after more than 18 years with the network. Over the years, the television star drew the ire of many Fox viewers when he repeatedly spoke out against former President Donald Trump during his administration. So when news broke that he was moving to a more Liberal, rival network, it wasn’t very shocking. Wallace recently spoke out about his decision to leave the conservative network.
In an interview with The New York Times, Wallace said he “no longer felt comfortable” with Fox News’ programming lineup when he decided to leave. He explained he doesn’t mind when people have different opinions than him, but felt his job was “unsustainable” after people at the network questioned the election results and whether or not January 6 was an insurrection.
Chris Wallace on leaving Fox News:
“I’m fine with opinion: conservative opinion, liberal opinion. But when people start to question the truth — Who won the 2020 election? Was Jan. 6 an insurrection? — I found that unsustainable.” https://t.co/fDPseHftRT

Wallace’s decision to host a show on CNN+, the leftist network’s new streaming platform, could seem like an odd choice for someone who said Fox had a problem with the truth. Conservatives, including former President Donald Trump, have long attacked the rival network for its bias against Republicans. For four years, CNN blasted the 45th president every single night.
Nonetheless, Wallace’s new show began on March 29. It’s an interview program reportedly inspired by Charlie Rose and Larry King. Fox News refused to comment on Wallace’s remarks.
