Biden Campaign Enters Hostile Territory

(UnitedVoice.com) – Social media has become a major tool for political campaigns over the last decade or so. It’s not surprising since the average American spends more than two hours on social media every day. President Joe Biden’s campaign decided to enter enemy territory to get his message out.

After leaving office, every major social media platform banned former President Donald Trump after accusing him of spreading violent rhetoric. The decision didn’t phase him. The ex-POTUS started his own social media site, TRUTH Social. The Biden Campaign posted on Trump’s platform, on October 16.

It appears as though Biden is using the social media platform to “troll” (annoy) Republicans. The campaign has repeatedly posted fact checks and other information on the platform. Campaign officials told Fox News Digital that they joined TRUTH to meet “voters where they are,” saying the GOP “can’t even agree on a speaker of the House,” so it’s obvious they don’t all think the same.

Although Republicans don’t always agree with one another, they’re very unified in their dislike of Biden. According to a Reuters poll in early October, 92% of conservative voters disapprove of the president’s job performance. The comments under the Biden Campaign’s various posts on the platform demonstrate that.

In the presidential campaign’s first post, under the handle Biden-Harris HQ, his team said, “Well. Let’s see how this goes. Converts welcome!” Users flooded the post with comments. One person called Biden the “best president China, Ukraine and Iran” have ever had. Conservative commentator Benny Johnson asked the POTUS’ team how they actually thought joining TRUTH Social “was going to go.” Others called him a “fraud” and said he should be impeached. The reactions to the campaign’s other posts were more of the same.

Fox reached out to the social media site to find out what its executives thought about the news. A spokesperson told the outlet that TRUTH is a “free, open platform” that “welcomes anyone around the world to join.”
