Hunter Biden Apparently Afraid to Face MTG

(UnitedVoice.com) – The House Oversight Committee recently held a meeting to discuss holding Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress. To the surprise of many, Hunter turned up at the hearing and sat in the audience. It seems he’s running scared of firebrand GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) though, because as soon as she stood up to speak, Hunter made a quick escape.

On January 10, the House Oversight Committee met to discuss a proposition to call for a House vote on Hunter Biden’s refusal to comply with subpoenas from the Oversight and Judicial Committees. The committees want him to testify about the president’s involvement, if any, in his business dealings. Hunter is refusing to appear in closed sessions, and instead held a defiant public press conference on Capitol Hill on the day he was supposed to appear. Now, Oversight Committee chairman James Comer (R-KY) wants a vote on holding him in contempt of Congress. Surprisingly, Hunter himself arrived with his legal team and sat in the audience. As it turned out, he only stayed for around 15 minutes — and Comer thinks he knows why.

Comer said that committee member Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) announced Hunter was there to answer questions. Comer’s response was to recognize MTG — and Hunter immediately fled with his lawyers. “As soon as he realized Marjorie Taylor Greene was going to ask him a question, they ran out of there,” Comer said, “They knocked over people on the way out the door.” As Hunter ran for the exit, Greene jeered that he was “afraid of [her] words.”

According to Comer, the incident proved that whatever his Democrat supporters like Moskowitz say, Hunter doesn’t actually want to answer any questions. He blasted the “arrogance and entitlement” of the president’s son, but vowed to push on with getting answers to the many questions about his business deals with this country’s enemies, and his father’s role in those deals.
