Lindsey Graham Claims Biden “Has Screwed the World Up Every Way You Can”

(UnitedVoice.com) – Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and President Joe Biden were once great friends. Less than a decade ago, the senator appeared in a documentary and tearfully said his friend was “as good a man as God ever created.” That friendship fell apart after Biden won the 2020 election.

Recently, when Graham spoke about Biden, he accused him of destroying the world.

Graham Attacks Biden

The South Carolina senator appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on March 10 to discuss the president. He lashed out at Biden for saying he regretted using the term “illegal” when describing the migrant who allegedly murdered Laken Riley in Georgia. The 22-year-old was killed while she was out running on the University of Georgia campus in Athens.

Graham said it “really pisses [him] off” the president remarked that he regretted using the term. Graham continued his attack on Biden, saying he almost fell out of his seat during the State of the Union Address when the president suggested Hamas could end the conflict by releasing the hostages.

The lawmaker asked if the president was suggesting Hamas would be allowed to remain in power if it released the hostages. Graham went on to question whether his former friend was mentally fit, calling on him to debate Trump. The president hasn’t said he wouldn’t debate his adversary.

Ultimately, Graham said he thinks Biden “has screwed the world up every way you can.”

The Republican also disputed claims that he allows former President Donald Trump to dictate what he should be doing. Host Kristen Welker pointed out that Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) said they shouldn’t “exist as a Senate then if we have to ask permission from [Trump] for everything” they do. Her remark was in reference to the former president ordering senators to kill a bipartisan immigration bill that included strict asylum rules and more money for security.

The Collapse of a Friendship

Graham and Biden served in Congress together for more than a decade. First, when the South Carolina native was a congressman and then when they served in the Senate together. Cracks started to form in the friendship when Biden ran for president.

The senator is an ally of Trump. After the 2020 election, Graham jumped on the election-disputing bandwagon. At that point, Biden began to refer to his friendship with the lawmaker in the past tense, calling him a “disappointment.”

As the country moves toward the general election, it appears what was left of their friendship is dead.
